Not the staunchest plotwise, but I think they were having a lot of fun with this one, similar to "Mather and Fervent."

Given the subject of Mr. Dr. P's favorite show, I wonder if he also watched "Thunderbirds" when he was a kid.

I wonder if the money Shego bagged will be going toward any future finale plots...

Being a railroad fan, I greatly enjoyed the inclusion of a train. It was much better done than in "Mother's Day." (Although the episode did contain a callback to "MD" in the mention of sandwiches.)

I'm slightly disappointed that there was no interaction with military personnel, considering the episode synopsis seemed to focus on it, but the train fight was cool, and the explosions were well done.

Drakken fell hard, very hard, for the Great Tunnel Opening Cliché... He should have perused The Evil Overlord List (http://www.eviloverlord.com/lists/overlord.html).

#81 - If I am fighting with the hero atop a moving platform, have disarmed him, and am about to finish him off and he glances behind me and drops flat, I too will drop flat instead of quizzically turning around to find out what he saw.

I suppose it could be a newcomer's intuition; a new set of eyes to the sitch. You see it in robotics - the big guns are tearing their hair out at a broken linkage, and then a newbie wanders over and says - "Why don't ya just do this?" Which leaves the vets saying, "Home come we didn't think of that?!"

Err, yeah... considering the lack of evidence of any actual road running by that sign...

Well, that's my nitpick. Not that the sign is there (it's an obvious gag to have a sign pointing out something that's supposed to be secret), but that it's a highway sign placed alongside a railroad, which does not have exits.

In any case, it was an enjoyable episode.

Quite remarkable that Shego racked up the claude while Kimmy was out of action... given that her frustration with Drakken reached new heights with the card-list thing, maybe she could be getting ready to bankroll her final separation from her boss? Could a fallout between the two play a role in Graduation? I guess we'll have to wait and see where this leads.

It's interesting to see how the writers are either consciously or inadvertantly touching on some of the main themes of fan fics - Shego turning good, "what if" episodes featuring K/R, etc. As seen in these threads, it has a lot of fan fic writers scambling to do edits!
Indeed, I seem to remember one story where Kim actually did get Ron a reinforced belt for an anniversary gift, and I can think of several other instances where S4 has parodied fan fiction stories. I remember another story where (AU story) Shego was a senior when Kim & Ron were freshman and Kim lost a bet to Shego.
Question though: Am I the only one slightly upset that Shego really didn't take advantage of Kim's lost memory beyond stealing? I was kinda hoping that Shego would try to convince Kim that she was evil. I guess I'm just weird.

I'm guessing that when it comes to a choice between committing a prank and getting more money, Shego would choose the latter. Also, what would be the point of making Kim evil, from Shego's point of view? There would just be another martial art trained competitor for roles as sidekick/partner to the villains in the region. Shego wouldn't want that!
Also, in this episode, Kim is clearly surrounded by friends and family, so any access would be complicated. Not much of an inducement for persuading the guilless Ms. Possible to join the darker side.

All right, thanks to iTunes and the power that $1.99 holds I finally got to see this episode.

It was an all right, not exactly a grand episode, but all right. The whole amnesia thing was an interesting enough plot, but it didn't exactly seem to go anyway. It did manage to make Ron look a little self-absorbed about their relationship and it didn't exactly put Kim's dad in a good light. Sure, it was played for laughs and it was just a little thing he was taking advantage of, but it just didn't seem all that right nonetheless.

But the subplot involving Drakken and Shego was entertaining enough (oh, there's a shock). And Drakken fought Kim once again. Apparently Doctor D only gains the fighting spirit of a warrior when he's on a train.

And, despite being so last season, Drakken's shampoo certainly has staying power. First it was indirectly responsible for Mad Dogs and Aliens (and we know where that's headed) and now it makes it grand return. Shampoo sandwiches... tasty.

Lord knows how Kim remembered Ron losing his pants during Exchange. Best I can think of is that Ron losing his pants is like a disturbance in the Force or something. She does seem desperate about Ron keeping his pants on after all.

"Sometimes, people read a little more into things than they should." Heh, if only that line had been uttered back during the first two seasons...

I think "Rockets are go!" has been somewhat of a catch phrase for Mr. Dr. P, and now we're simply discovering its origin. I don't think there are really any ties about it to other episodes.

The easiest way to do that would be with a pull-down color menu like ARA had, and have settings for "Text Spoiler" and "Quote Spoiler." However, lacking that, is it possible to put some kind of highlighted box around the spoiler colors, or set them on their own separate row?

Actually, I can adjust the color button at the top of the editor window. Clicking on that gives you that pull down window. I just have to go into control panel and adjust two of the colors, probably down towards the bottom, to match the spoiler colors. I'll see if I can separate them out in some way.

I hadn't thought of this show in several years! Out in West Texas, it showed up later than 1965 on one of the cable channels, and it was very popular with the full-geek crowd (of which I was a card-carrying member!).
