This is a thread for new members to introduce themselves! :D
I'll start:
Hi, I'm new to this board- not new to the Kimmunity mind you. :P
I'm a fanfiction writer and also made a few fanvids. Still working on my art skilz...
I've been a member of the Fight For Five since the start, and was a member of the old SaveKP movement during its last 2 months. (ah, good times! :) )
My thanks go to Twila Starla for inviting me to this kickin' new place!

That's pretty much all I got for now.

Hey everyone! Quin here. Thought I'd give this place a try as, once upon a time, I was a member over at the ARA. It's nice to see so many familiar faces (erm, profiles? :errr: ) ;)
I may not be all that active now, but hopefully that'll change.

Hi everyone. Phil here.
Thank you for starting this new board. I will attempt to visit once in a while :)
I am a current kpfanworld.com and saveourshows.org developer and RS member. I am former staff of the savedisneyshows site and Mission Kim Possible group. I have been with the fandom since June of 2005. That pretty much explains my KP history in a nutshell.
I enjoy programming, and a sophmore year student.
Thats all I have to say about introducing myself :)

Rob here, coming over from the ARA... since 2001, I've usually used my actual name on message boards, rather than some other handle (although on Gaia, I go by Kyoji Kasshu).
I was quite surprised to see the PM notification regarding jerriddian's invite in my inbox after getting home from work this evening. So, here I am... and it looks like I'll be passing 1,000 posts here, rather than there.
While I do find it mildly creepy that this board shift is eerily reminiscent of one I lived through nearly seven years ago, I'm looking forward to this transition.
The first few days will inevitably be slow. We've gotta get the word out, after all!

Are you the same campy as the one on Fanfiction.net, or is that just a coincidence?

Hi all;
First I lurked at ARA, then posted for a while, then went back to lurking. I was lurking for so long I'm surprised anyone remembered me, let alone e-mail me about GJA.
Anywhoo, now I'm here (obviously :P). I'll see if I can get back to posting.

Hi everyone,
I think most of the Kimmunity knows who I am already. But if not, I'll tell you now. :) I'm Greg and I've been apart of the Save Kim Possible Movement sense early 2004. I ran SaveKimPossible.com for months before co-founding SaveDisneyShows.org. After a bitter fallout with my partner on that project I pushed forward with building new coalition and movements for other shows like Phil of the Future and American Dragon Jake Long.
My sometimes (okay, frequently) blunt posting style has gotten me in trouble before. So let me just say right now that you shouldn't take me too seriously.
I wanted to thank Brian for informing be about this exciting new project. I will definitely visit every day for about a week and then check back once in a blue moon after that. Just like I do with RS.net. :)

Hey everybody,
I'm sure a good number of you probably already know me either from the good old days of the ARA, FanFiction.net, or more recently on the RS.net messageboard. For those of you who haven't met me before, allow me to introduce myself:
I go by the nickname of recon228 online, though you can feel free to call me either recon or Sean, which is my real name of course. I'm a fellow KP fan as well as an amateur fanfiction author... though admittedly, it's been a long time since I've written anything new on the KP front. :o
On the personal side, I'm twenty-six years old and happily married with an eleven month old son who's rapidly approaching his first birthday. I live in Southern California (The "Golden Orange" to be exact) and I'm a Deputy with the United States Marshals Service. Prior to going federal, I was a police officer in Northern California for close to eight years and worked in several areas including Patrol, Investigations, FTO, and SWAT.
I enjoy just about every aspect of law enforcement and love discussing it, so if you have any questions or are writing a story and want some technical advice, don't hesitate to contact me via email or PM.

Hiya!
My name is Dave and I'm kinda known over at RS.NET as a nosy old coot that likes to instigate things, LOL!
No, NO, not anything bad, mind you.
The old Kimvention effort that ALMOST got off the ground back early this year, the stuff from Steve Loter that I picked up at the studio, organizing the VIP/Fan lunch at Jerry's deli back on March 31st, the current charity drive, meetings with Mark and Bob...
WHEW!!!
No wonder I'm a bit tired all the time, LOL!
I congratulate the Admins here that have started this wonderful site, and wish them all the best in the future!
GREAT work here, guys!

I, myself would like to welcome the member of RS.net who came here to post with us. Hopefully we can find common grounds and help each other in future projects. I know I greatly support the fight for box sets and the idea of more episodes/seasons of our favorite show, Kim Posssible.

I think most people at least having a passing notion of who I am.
I'm 29 years old, single, male, and living in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. I have a degree in business, and currently work for one of the largest unions in Canada in their Ontario Head Office.
I'm also an avid fan of fanfiction, both reading and writing. I've probably read more KP stories on FF.net than most anyone, though I am behind on a lot of the new stuff that's come out the last few months. I also have one major series on the go, and about 10 other stories as well. While I'm primarily K/R, I am also a fan of Ron/Bon, am writing a Kigo as well, and will read pretty much any story, no matter the pairing, so long as the story is good.
The first KP forum I joined was ARA, but because of differences, I left... and then was pushed out when I came back. I've been a member of RS.net and the Slash forum for some time as well. I also run one of the largest forums on FF.net, and the largest by far for KP, largely devoted to fanfiction and fanfic assistance. I'm also (a lot of alsos lol) a member of the Bonnie forum.
I also put together and organize the Fannie Awards. For those of you who don't know, that's the Kim Possible Annual Fanfiction Awards, held every winter at the start of the year, with fan voting and an awards presentation done in fanfic format.
Finally, I like to help whenever I can (which is a little difficult right now cause my internet at home got cut off yesterday), so if anyone wants help or wants to talk, feel free to drop me a line, in many of the myriad ways I can be reached.
Later!

might as well make an official intro post.
I am wallaceb, i joined the KP community about 1.5 years ago, and i have been watching KP for about 3 years. When i first got started, SDS was the first place i went to. through them i found RS.net where i started to spend more time because of the higher level of activity it has. I also looked and liked the ARA but i really only looked around, and made like 1 post per month.
about a month after i joined RS.net i noticed how people where always asking for screen shots from the show. many took their own shots, but some posted links to the ARA's collection. when i saw it i liked it, but i thought to myself, they do not have every episode, and you cannot see the image until you click the link. so i started by caps site/collection.
While working on that, i met Adam Humpherys who at the time was working on a new site KPfanworld.com
he needed help and i first started about 2 months after i joined the community. between the 2 of us, we were able to get KPFW up and running very fast. when adam had to leave for his missionary work, i was given full control over the site. Since then i have been adding new and more material to the site to make it the biggest source of all things Kim.
With all the work i did on KPFW, and the work i did on RS.net's main site where i coded quite a few pages, i was made a moderator of the forum about 2 months ago. then i was promoted to admin about 1 month ago.
I have only been with the community for 1.5 years, but i have spent it all doing as much as i can for it.
I am starting my Junior year of college to be an electrical engineer, and though i will have les free time, i will still make sure to be part of the KP world

Ooo! Ooo! :P
Given my reputation, it is, unsurprisingly, about a ballistics.
Or, well, maybe more of a math problem.
My robotics club is building an air cannon that we will bolt to a robot and use to fire T-shirts into the crowd at football games (Don't worry - the mortars will be reserved for the opposing team. :P). We're looking to find a proper barrel length.
So, the question - if we're using (X) projectile force, say 110 psi, with a (Y) barrel caliber - 4-inch PVC, for example - how long should the barrel (Z) be to give us maximum power/range?

So, the question - if we're using (X) projectile force, say 110 psi, with a (Y) barrel caliber - 4-inch PVC, for example - how long should the barrel (Z) be to give us maximum power/range?
Barrel length really only has a major affect when it comes to traditional firearms. This is due to the fact that the projectile force, in this case burning powder, increases exponentially in both force and velocity the longer it stays confined within the barrel. To put it simply: a bullet fired through a 26-inch barrel is going to burn longer and therefore push the bullet out at a faster velocity than in an 11-inch barrel. The other factor that comes into play is the fact that firearms have a rifling in the barrel that spins the bullet. Thus, the longer the barrel, the more turns the bullet takes before exiting the barrel, and the straighter it flies.
So in conclusion, the barrel length on an air cannon only needs to be as long as is necessary to aim the projectile... there's really no change in accuracy or velocity.
Hope that helps,
- Sean

Yo.
My name is roycereece, I am a freshman in high school. I have been part of the KP fan base for about two years. Some of you might remember me from the ARA. ARA was the first forum (not just KP related) that I actually made a significant amount of posts on. I was banned due to some "issues" I had with the former admins there, but that is behind me and it didn't really affect anyone who is here now. So I hope to have a fresh start here. =)
I am currently involved with the SaveDisneyShows.org and SaveOurShows.org movements. I am a regular on the SDS forums and manage the SDS MySpace as well. If you have a MySpace, please add us...more info is on the SDS forums. I don't know if the mods/admins allow linking outside of here, so I'll play it safe.
Hope to see you all around, and thanks to Brian for the referral!

I'm 37, from Scotland, single (though not for lack of trying), and still live with my folks. Dad was 82 last birthday, and still in proud possession of most of his marbles. Mum's not far behind, age wise. Got one older brother, a sister in law, and two lovely nieces.
Been a fan of KP and co. since practically the first episode.:)

Hello Everyone!
I'm guessing alot of people may know me from Fanfiction.net under the same name. Pretty Much in a nutshell I love to write, or anything that allows me to create. I have 4 KP stories up now I believe (2 are incomplete at this time) I remix music alot, and the one song thats on the internet I have is called Remember the Name Rock Remix on ccmixter.org. There are 4 versions of it there. My other alias happens to be Dj mTp, which ccmixter, gamewinners.com, and youtube knows me by.
On Youtube I create videos dealing with Kingdom Hearts 2. Not the obvious AMV thing you guys might think of, but my little "show" is called KH2: The White & Nerdy Parodies. Basically I put in audio set to the KH2 cutscenes that makes you laugh your but off. I have recently launched the second season of W&N and am currently working on W&N 9.
Fun Fact: In W&N 3, I have a bunch of the KH characters singing the Naked Mole Rap.
So yeah, if you know me from any other websites as Dj mTp, that's me right here in the computerized text.
I was never a member of ARA, infact I never even heard of it. But thanks to Zaratan's forum on Fanfiction.net, I heard about this new GJA and I had to join.
As you can tell, I love talking. So I leave you after reading this long post with a hope I meet some new people on here who share my passion of KP and creativity on a same level as I do.

Sorry about the double post.
I forgot to say I am a proud committee member of the newly formed KP fanfic Hall of Fame over at fanfic.net. Pharoh Rutin Tutin of FF.net was the driving force of the idea. I also know a few people here that are also members.

Welcome, Jinxs! I've corresponded and worked with another 'resident Finn' over at FanFiction.com, Sir Sebastian. He has a unique sense of humor and a good writing style; I'd recommend stopping over there and taking a read, especially if you need a good laugh: there's some good humor!
At least for me, as one who were never a member of ARA, I've appreciated the welcome I've received over her at GJA after being a 'relatively active' participant of Zaratan's forum over on FanFiction. I appreciate the reception over there from several of the writers who are here, and I will freely admit that their encouragement kept me going when things didn't look so good. Thanks to all of you, readers and reviewers of my JadeKimVerse and DefineHell stories.

Never mind. Hi, I'm back, I'm me, I'm, well, a little older but that's all.
Still German, still studying to become a teacher of Latin and Philosophy one day.
ARA was my one and only KP-board. I came for the tome, stayed for the community. Guess I will post my way to KP again a few thousand times when explaining my point of view in discussions to come - so I'll spare you now.:)
As always, you can ask me for help with latin but I can't promise much help - it's the understatement thing that protects me from feeling guilty.

Well I'm not so much about wearing the girly clothes although it sure is good that they don't have to run around all pink as a KP-fan nowadays. About the CDs: I thought about that. But I prefer the English voices over the German, so it would be kind of a waste of money. As gifts otherwise...:innocent:
