Viewers of Nursery Crimes will recall that when Ron told Kim not to look in the basement because she'd she something sick and wrong, she replied by asking if what was there was worse than his putting Diablo Sauce on pancakes. I thought this was a bit much from someone who, as we learned in Blush, likes to put marshmallows on hot dogs.
So, I ask you, my fellow GJA members, which food combo is gorchier:
Diablo Sauce + pancakes
Marshmallows + hot dogs
I'm giving my vote to marshmallows and hot dogs.

Oh, oh, Diablo Sauce + pancakes and that my final answer!
What a nasty combo. Bleh

Diablo sauce+ pancakes, though I'd rather not come across any of them.

Let me think about this.......:wallbash:
.....Nope! Just can't believe it. They're both equally bad.:P:laugh:

Well here's one of my Sicker sounding food combos. Soft pretzels dipped in honey bbq sauce. :o :P

I think the diablo sauce and pancakes would be much worse. The marshmellows on a hotdog doesn't sound too awful, as long as wasn't any ketchup or mustard on it.
Also, milkshakes with fries are good. Just for the record.

Yep, But I'm really particular with the type of BBQ sauce. I has to be the Sweet baby ray's brand.
I have tried the Shake and fries thing too and I agree.

I'll have to vote for Diablo sauce and pancakes. Spicy foods and I just don't get along very well.

Honestly, they both sound kinda good to me.. so I'm going to abstain.
But if anyone wants to know a really gorchy food combo, try Tabasco Sauce on grapfruit.. <-- Disgusting.

Well here's one of my Sicker sounding food combos. Soft pretzels dipped in honey bbq sauce. :o :PThat sounds delicious! I like to dip pretzels in any kind of savory dip. I also like to break up hard pretzels and use them as croutons in black bean soup.
I wouldn't go near either the pancake/diablo or hot dog/marshmallow pairings, though.

I am going to have to give the gorcho nod to the Pancakes and Diablo Sauce
As for the hot dogs and marshmallows, I would say that many people have had a little taste of this if they have ever been around a campfire and had a bite of s'more while their mouth was already full of roasted hotdog.
As for gorchie food, how about BLT-flavored ice cream?
Like Neapolitan, it has three different blocks of flavor--a stripe of tomato-flavored ice cream, a stripe of toast-flavored ice cream, and lettuce-flavored sherbet. Add a healthy sprinkling of bacos and a ribbon or two of mayo :o , and there you have it!

That sounds either really gross or really good...
Does anyone know the show Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel? 90% of what that guy tries is gorchy, maybe beyond gorchy.

But it is a good thing.. I find it very entertaining to see these schmoes on television making a fool of themselves by doing disgusting things. Except for of course the survival guys and the guy who tours the world looking for odd cuisine.
Hmmm.. Gorchy food combos.... My sister used to eat mayo and jelly sandos, and I used to eat mayo and pickle sandos.

I used to eat Penut Butter, Pickle, & Bacon sandwiches. I've ate Sushi once. (not a good idea, it made me sick) But the worst thing I tried was Escargot dipped in dijon mustard. The snail ruined the mustard.

The mayo and jelly sounds...ew... The mayo and pickle-not so much. I wouldn't try either of them myself, though, because I don't like mayo.

That reminds me of two things:
A) I still have to make a fool's gold loaf (1 loaf of bread with the innards carved out, then one full jar of jelly in one half, and a full jar of PB in the other, and then a pound of bacon between the two - put it together and and rub the crust with butter. Then put it in the oven until the outside becomes crispy and enjoy) courtesy of Elvis!
B) The time a tried a Mitch Hedberg sandwich which was pretty good - Pastrami with cottage cheese on banana bread.. mmmmm Hedberg.... *drooool*

OMG! I've had that, and yes its really good. It wasn't called Fools Gold Loaf when I ate it, but it was the same exact thing you described. My grandma loves to make wierd things like that all the time.

How about ice cream and chocolate syrup... as a hamburger topping!
A local restaurant chain called Silverman's offered that bad boy back when they were common around the Detroit area in the '80s... and, as a kid, I had one of those babies!

How did it taste?
Pizza and M&Ms, for another. I've never personally had it.
My sister came up with Clam Chowder and fries, which isn't half bad.

The Real Thing, white)? If the first, it sounds pretty good. The second, I'll pass, thanks.

As far as the taste, as I remember, it wasn't too bad. But it didn't quite agree with me later. That's why I only got it once.
As far as clam chowder goes, New England is the only way to go, as far as I'm concerned. I've tried the Manhattan type... and it was 100% unappealing to me.

Honestly, I don't think that any combo of food could gross me out (especially if I haven't had it! ;))
Oh, here's one - I once put ranch dressing in a Cup O' Noodles, beef flavor as I recall, and man was it gorchy.

I think the marshmellows on hot dogs takes my vote, given it's like putting sugar on steak. Yuck!
Of course, I really wouldn't try whip cream on pizza, which I've seen one time at a boardwalk pizzeria on the shore one time. ACK!

During a financiallly-strapped period, my brother-in-law attempted to make a potted-meat omelet.
When my wife (not at that time, lucky for me) arrived at his house after he'd cooked it, all doors and windows were open, and she could smell it from inside her car with the A/C going.
 Potted meat should not be cooked.... :alumnus:
