Okay, since the 4th version of this thread is more than a month old, I decided to start Version #5 rather than gravedig the old one. So here goes:
The other day, I was stopped at a traffic light behind a pickup truck whose tailgate name plate identified it as a Nissan "Titan." Right away, I thought of HenchCo's "Project Titan" which turned Ron into a ravenous behemoth in the ep "Grande Size Me"... :P

Whenever I'm talking to a customer and I find out their name is Kim, or Bonnie, or Ron - I always have to refrain from grinning. And when I find that their name is one of the aforementioned when on the phone, I usually have to ask them to repeat themselves.

Yeah, I find myself taking notice whenever I encounter a customer invoice made out to someone named "Kim"...
In fact, one of our customers is a company named "Wade Office Supply." You think maybe that's how he can afford to build all Kim's gadgets?

I don't think I've met any Kims, Rons or Bonnies in a long time. I did, however, have my groceries rung up by a Monique the other day. This was at the same market where a Tara bagged for me once.

Considering the forum is offically less than a week old, I don't think it would count as gravedigging. :P

Well, my thread about my recovery from my elbow injury quickly disappeared from the new forum because it was a month old. I asked jeriddian about it, and he gave me permission to gravedig that. I'd rather not do so again with another month-old-plus topic; it's easier just to start a Version 5 and be done with it.

I was on a flight from LA to Sacramento this morning and my seat broke! It would recline, but when I tried to bring it forward, it wouldn't stay upright. My first thought was "Booyah, now I can get upgraded to first-class!"

Unfortunately it was Southwest Airlines, so there wasn't a first-class section I could be upgraded to. :dubiety:

My life reminds me of KP to a point...Seriously.

I was low on the food chain (Just like Ron was) And in my Senior year of High school, I became popular all of a sudden. It was actually quite shocking at first having all these people talk to me. Talk about a transition that was a pain to make. Oh yeah, did I mention I was and still am a complete goof?

I think many of us will admit to being complete goofs (well, at least once in a while!). I, personally pride myself on my goofiness and dorkiness.

Well let me see here...

I'm a geek. I goof off alot. And I have no clue about the opposite sex. And I forget alot of important things.

Can you see why I like the show?

And just for the record, I say Booyah alot. Bad habbit.

Well, I think that is a KP fandom first. I've never heard of one of the fans knowing someone who actually keeps a NMR as a pet, though I'm wondering, since the NMR is a eusocial mammal, how a single NMR lives on its own.

At work today, they set me up with a new, advanced postage meter that uses a laptop computer and a touch-screen system to allow me to do all sorts of advanced mailing jobs. The tangle of wires and connections behind the meter reminded me of the scene in "Odds Man In," where Ron chastises his dad about all the electrical cords under the desk in Mr. Stoppable's office...:P

While in the physical rehabilitation hospital (little surprise exacerbation that paralyzed my legs, temporarily, and turned into a diagnosis 17 years late of MS...but, that's not important), the night nurse on my first Monday walked in at 9:00, and I was certain I had moved from real life to Middleton Hospital.

A tall, statuesque, and absolutely strikingly beautiful redhead came walking in with a smile bigger than Texas and Alaska put together, and I truly understood how James Possible, Ron Stoppable, and Wade Load feel every day. Fortunately for me, her name was not Anne Possible (yes, I know, not canon, but as close to fic-canon as a name can be) or I might have passed out right then, but we did spend several hours over the next 2 weeks talking about several things, including her family, and she makes an appearance in one of my stories.

I wrote at least 15 pages of that story on my portfolio pad while in there after first meeting her and talking to her over the next several days, and the chapter appeared shortly after I arrived home. I want more experiences like that (the nurse, that is, not the hospital visit).

My turn... again.

Just a little note here, this little tale, You can not make this stuff up...lol. And I was going to do this last night after the date, but doing it on a PSP...pain. So I got a computer right now.

Yesterday, My buddy called me up out of the blue and said "Hey Mikey! Get you're suit on, you got a date in an hour..." He's been trying to get me to go out with a girl for awhile now, and since its been over 2 years since my last girlfriend, he feels I need to get out and date again.

So I throw on my suit and tie and head out. He set up this "Blind Date" at one of them fancy resturants (Thank god he was paying for the night) I got there and told the host my name. He then told me that my date had already arrived and he would take me to my table.

Well I was in for quite a shock. At my table set this beautiful young woman with brown eyes that you could get lost in. She had red hair that went halfway down her back. She was slender. and when she stood up, she stood about 5' 5". Her attire for the evening, (This was what got me going NO FREAKING WAY!) was a baby blue dress...

Well then after wiping the drool away from my mouth, I recongized the young woman. She was my best friend I talked about in another thread if you guys have read it. She had recently gone back to her natural hair color, and I have not seen her for a few days so I did not know this. Apparently this date had been in the works for a month now between her and my buddy. Now they have no idea I like the KP show... So the Irony was just...well...Ironic.

So yes, the night went well. I ordered prime rib, she also ordered prime rib. We stayed in that resturant for 3 hours just talking. So as we were leaving, She drove to the date, so she was heading for her car after we said goodbye to eachother. I grabbed her hand and I asked her "How long?"

Her resonse, "Since the day we met."

I nearly went ballistic!

I'm talking to her later today and setting up a second date....

Irony is a kill people...

Did you hear the song in the background:

I know we're been friends forever....

I love it when Cupid comes out and kicks someone, hard, in the 'boys.' Good luck, Mike: all you need is to find out that the reason she went back 'red' is because she started watching this show called 'Kim Possible...'

There is no wedding set...We've only been a couple for a day nebster.

Actually the song in the background was some sort of waltz...But I did listen to Could It Be on the way home. (Dang, is my whole life based around this show or what?)

And I found out why she went back to red! It was because of me. I told her about a week ago that I missed her red hair because of her hot-tempered personality. So she went from black to red... I like the change.

Second date is tonight, We are heading to the movies (something I can afford) Going to go see Holloween.

And to add nebster when we met, she was being babysat by my mom at the time. She was 4, I was 6. Now I'm 19, she's 17 going on 18 in a few days. So we did not meet in Pre-k but in my own home...

If she changed her hair color just because you made a casual comment, and you met when she was 4 and you were 6 and her comment was 'since the first day we met,' you tell me. Guy, methinks she likes you a bit, maybe even 'like-likes' you.

Good: scary movies are designed for close contact! You don't think that the producers that create them know this, you're crazy: they've all been in those seats with ladies, before!

Enjoy, MikiI, and find you over the next few weeks if she's heard of KP.

Driving to the library this morning, I saw a squirrel sitting in the middle of the road. I was immediately reminded of Kim's disastrous first driving lesson with Mr. Barkin in "Car Trouble."

Kim: "Is that like a K turn?"

Barkin: "It's like a squirrel!"

Thankfully, teaching my own daughters to drive was nothing like that. :P

Also, a friend of mine showed me a photo of a cat sitting in a purse, which of course reminded me of Camille Leon's hairless cat, Debutante.

When I toured my old high school at our last reunion six years ago, they still had lockers in the hallways (I even found my old locker!)... I'm not sure if they do anymore, given the fact that most of my school was torn down right after then as part of a massive renovation project. This October, I'm going to my 30th reunion, and one of the activities is a tour of the new school building on a Saturday morning. I'll get to see then whether or not today's kids have lockers like I did.

I suppose I'm in the small percentage of the student body who uses their lockers on a daily basis. That's what I did back in my freshman year. I made sure I knew where my locker was; and I memorized my padlock combo within a week (we had combination padlocks instead of locks built into the doors). In fact, for the first several months of my freshman year, I shared my locker with another student. I hardly saw him at all; our schedules were so different, the only way I knew he'd been in the locker was by the way his pile of books changed from day to day.
Since we paid for the locks when we bought our books and school supplies, they were ours to keep when we left school. I seem to have lost my hall padlock; however, I still have my gym lock and it still works - thirty-four years later! (and yes; I still remember the combination! :D)

My high school has locks not attached. Up until this year, students provided their own locks (and about 1/4 didn't bother). Now we have these (http://www.masterlock.com/apps/catalog/product.jsp?subId=CLL_2_3&target=school|locker) and I hate them. While admittedly they did get nice/colorful ones, mine doesn't work well-I generally end up kicking mine after entering the combination to open it. :ohwell: I only go to my locker in the morning, at lunch, and after school, though.

That's interesting about getting rid of lockers. My middle school wouldn't allow backpacks during the school day, so we'd have to carry books for 2-3 classes at a time.

The only time I've had a top locker is 7th grade. I did get a better location this year, though. They didn't plan the whole locker thing very well, as they just make a giant U, with lockers facing each other about 5-6 feet apart. Unfortunately, this means that those with lockers near the middle have to go through other people on either side. It can get inconvenient/awkward.

Watching part of the Dallas Cowboys game this past weekend, and witnessed the 'Ron-Stoppable Run' by Dallas quarterback Tony Romo.

center snaps ball over QB's head, QB attempts to pick up the ball and kicks it, finally grabs it about 30 yards behind the line of scrimmage, and then proceeds to run and return the bad snap and, ultimately, carry the ball back to end up with a net 4-yard gain (gross yardage estimated on the play at 70+). All I could think was "Tony, did you watch the KP episode?"

2. As I was delivering the incoming mail, I noticed that the desk belonging to one of our managers was covered with rows of "Post-It" notes with writing on them. He had clearly arranged them into some kind of order as part of a project he was doing. Seeing that reminded me of Drakken's note cards in the episode "Clean Slate." :P

Besides, when the JadeShopping fan club fits into a minivan, you have to self-promote to get the word out.

"Why should we panic? We've got a great team. ... It doesn't happen, so who cares? There's always next year. It's not like it's the end of the world."

--Manny Ramirez

My first thought was of Kim and Ron, holding hands, and walking out of MHS, with Kim saying about graduation: "...it's not the end of the world."

Manny's comment, and the firestorm that has ensued, is a macrocosm of the discussions going on on multiple fanfiction boards about KP.

The discussions about sports parallel the discussions about KP: the sports and show fans care about the event, while the players and Disney care about the money. Don't think so about the players? Ask any of them to hand over all of the money they've earned from playing and play for free.

Amazing how real life reminds one of KP, and vice-versa.

Got that right. And to think that not so long ago the great ball players like Ruth and Gehrig played their hearts out for a dime and a song, out of pure love for the game.:dubiety:

Sometimes I just don't know... first with the mild concussion or something during the finale, now this,... just last week he showed up at my house holding what looked like a Juvinator, don't know where he got that. Sometimes I wonder if he's an in-closet K.P. fanatic; everybody knows he watches the show, but not to what extent and how much.

The Juvinator looked like one of those children's toy's for toddlers where you throw these different colored plastic rings of different size onto a post, sort of like horseshoes or something like that. It always amused me that they made that device out of a toy for 2 year olds.:P

Oh yeah, I remember now... I use to have one, then Lupe came over one day when we were little and it disappeared. I guess that's why he left it at my house last week. Some 'crime of the century', huh?

The toy in question is the Fisher-Price "Rock-A-Stack." It consists of five colored plastic rings, each one smaller than the others, that a toddler can stack on a white plastic pylon mounted on a base that can rock back and forth. The reason I know this is because I bought one as a gift for my oldest niece on her first birthday back in 1981.
(And now she's engaged to be married. Lord, do I feel old...)

Getting back on-topic: I noticed two things today:
1) While I was pushing to get all my outgoing mail done before noon, the word "hustle" popped into my head. Right away, I thought of Ron's line to Mr. Barkin in "Ill-Suited" when he's trying out for the football team: "I've got buckets of hustle!" :D
2) There's a girl at work who reminds me of that fashion model in "Trading Faces" who asks to borrow Kim's compact (when Kim's working undercover to guard the million-dollar necklace at the fashion show).

Well, around halftime at the Homecoming game last night, we were "fighting for our football lives," so to speak, 13-to-14 in favor of the other team. Thankfully, there was no Upset, and our team won. Due to the noise of the crowd, I couldn't tell if the Homecoming Court nomination was so the drama or not. :P
I'm going to the dance this evening; I wasn't able to find a date, but I'm going with a group, so it shouldn't be too bad.

If you want to know just how far ahead (and how far KP's reach is), I was in a job interview when the interviewer (approx. late-30s/early-40s, male, brown-haired (no, not a blond!)) asked me what the 'sitch' was about a particular line on my resume. I smiled and responded; I think I surprised him by knowing what he meant!

I actually am a redhead, though my hair on my temples in front of my ears is uniquely platinum blonde for some reason, so I got two. And no, nothing pasted over another label, cpneb. I used it the other night and noticed afterwards that it had the nice affect of darkening my platinum tips slightly. It actually works pretty good. I've got a definite red sheen on my bangs now, as opposed to them formerly being a light brown. My friend A.P. told me the other day she'd never seen such varied hair in one person without dyeing, but I think she'll be sad about the platinum tips. She happens to love them and calls them my 'little feathery angel wings'.

I've noticed sitch used more too, but I've especially noticed the increased use of 'badical', 'bon-diggety', and 'booyah' at my school. I actually had the boy who was to play Monkey Fist ask me if he could still be in it when I got to it; he was worried that he wouldn't have any lines left since M.F. got stoned.

Actually, my hair does something similar. I'm dark blonde on the top, but the under layer of my hair is almost red. It probably due to sun exposure. I can't explain your 'angel wings' though, Ace Ian.

Cool. Do you know what type of cat she is. I've never had a cat with a tail: Bubba was a Manx; so was Sissy, his sister. Little Girl and Dixie are sisters and also Manxes. Blueboy, however, is Japanese. :D He's a Japanese bobtail - Korat mix. Oddly enough his brother has a tail and isn't, so I guess they're half brother litter mates.

I actually had the boy who was to play Monkey Fist ask me if he could still be in it when I got to it; he was worried that he wouldn't have any lines left since M.F. got stoned.

I've heard booyah on commercials, now (don't remember which one, but when I do, I'll post it). Monkeyfist brought a whole new meaning for us 'children of the 60's to the phrase 'getting stoned.' :D Of course, I never did :innocent: : I was too scared of my parents to even try it.

Might have had something to do with the cottonwood tree in the front yard: Dad would send my older brother out to cut his own switch (cut too small, and Dad brings in a tree trunk; cut too large, and it'll hurt!) :alumnus: Just a little switch-cutting 101....

As promised, my pictures of Team Cluck! ;)

 Well, you can definitely tell which one is Mego, just by the way she walks around. The Wegoes definitely got the red down, but I'm a bit saddened Wego 1 had slightly feathers instead of Shego. Wonder if you'll get any green eggs to go with your ham? Shego's gorgeous though, IMO, definitely prettier than Hego.

Personally, I think Hego's cuter than Shego (now, there's a statement you won't hear on the show!)

Team Cluck! LMAO!

Same holds true for any clothing store...I once worked part-time at a women's clothing store where I swear they rearranged the entire stock set-up on a weekly basis. Part of my job was returning clothes the ladies tried on to the racks where they belonged, and quite often I couldn't find where they got half the stuff from. Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to spend 20 minutes walking around with a blouse on a hanger, trying to find where it goes?
Now I know why a friend of mine, who works in a grocery store, occasionally wears a badge he made up that says, "I no longer fear Hell - I've worked retail!" :ohwell:

They had a lot of Buzz Lightyear merchandise, a lot of Little Mermaid, a lot of Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White, but no KP. I started to think about this and (again) I remembered that there is a connection of sorts as to why that is. The one thing KP did not have that all of these characters had was a full length feature movie that aired in theaters. It made me think again that if such a movie were actually made, and a storyline used that appealed across the board to all audiences a little more, KP's popularity would be augmented tremendously.:dubiety:

Ah, now there's the rub.............:hmm:

Four things today:
1. On the way to work this morning, I saw a license plate that read “Mrs P.” It reminded me of what Ron always calls Kim’s mom – “Mrs. Dr. P.”
2. Today I was frustrated at work over the way my postage meter and inserters kept malfunctioning. I found myself thinking about the scene in “Grande Size Me” where Kim has to deal with mutated Ron rampaging through Middleton while eluding all the villains trying to steal back Henchco’s molecular transducer from her – specifically, where she says, “I am so not in the mood for this!”
3. On break today, I read an Internet news report (well, actually, a bit of on-line gossip) about how Britney Spears doesn’t save or invest any of her monthly income – about $737,000.00!!
It started me thinking about the episode “Ron Millionaire.”
4. Tonight on cable, I watched a scene in ‘Man vs. Wild” where Bear (is that really his name?) crossed a hundred-foot deep gorge by going hand-over-hand on a rope strung across the gorge. It reminded me of that scene in “And the Mole Rat Will Be CGI” where Ron crosses his rope linking Junior’s helicopters the same way – “I’m OK; just fighting gym-class flashbacks…”

Too bad they went with Eli Manning, who quite often is stoppable, at least compared to his brother Peyton.

Watching the most recent edition of Ninja Warrior, one of the competitors had serious trouble taking off his long pants at the starting line, and ended up failing very spectacularly. I couldn't help but think that Ron wouldn't have had quite that kind of a problem...

... then I started to think how KP characters would fare against the Sasuke course. Kim and Shego would naturally be favorites to make it through, of course, while Ron would likely lose his pants at some seemingly unlikely point on the first-round course. They'd likely try to keep Monkey Fist off the course, due to his unnatural advantage....

One thing that happened a few weeks ago was in one of the local bookstores. I was sitting out front drinking coffee and reading (it was a Saturday afternoon) when I noticed a red headed young lady with Kim's hair style sitting at the other end of the porch. She was working on something on a laptop with a bunch of books spread out on her table. It was pretty easy to imagine KP in college doing the same thing.
