Now that we're less then a week away from Graduation, I figured now would be the time to show my completed list of episodes, in order, and ask how everyone else has it set in their minds.
--
My Season 4 list (with important time line facts and events):
Ill Suited: Late August-Early September. Beginning of the Senior Year, Kim and Ron have begun dating, Ron joins the football team.
Trading Faces: Introduction to Camille Leon, Jim and Tim begin attending Middleton High School.
Car Alarm: Kim gets her car, Shego breaks out of prison for the first time.
The Big Job: Shego break out of prison a second time, Kim and Ron get jobs at Club Banana and Smarty Mart. First appearence of Martin Smarty.
Fashion Victim: First appearence of the Fashionistas, who later design Kim's new mission outfit. Monique becomes assistant manager at Club Banana and joins Team Possible. Ron discovers that Barkin works at Smarty Mart along with him.
Mad Dogs and Aliens: Drakken is finally busted from Cell Block D. First appearence of Warmonga, Jim and Tim become new Middleton Mad Dogs. Wade is seen outside his room for the first time since Team Impossible.
Grande Size Me: Ron attends Freshmen Year Health Class. Drakken appears, now out of prison again.
The Cupid Effect: February. Wade joins Kim on a mission for the first time since Team Impossible.
Big Bother: Hana Stoppable is adopted and joins the Stoppable family, Ron is moved into the attic.
Clothes Minded: Kim begins wearing her new mission outfit, which is seen in the episodes following it. Drakken and Shego are offically back together.
Homecoming Upset: Homecoming, placed at a very strange time (during the spring, if it takes place after The Cupid Effect, most likley an error). Ron is elected Homecoming King, and Bonnie, Queen. Kim gains her new Kimmunicator.
Larry's Birthday: Last appearence of the supersuit.
Chasing Rufus: Go City appears for the first time since season 2. Debutante and Rufus learn to get along.
Clean Slate: Kim and Ron celebrate their halfaversery, meaning it has been six months since they started their relationship, sometime during the summer after So The Drama. Shego learns that Kim and Ron are dating.
The Mentor of Our Discontent: Frugal Lucre is out of prison. Kim and Ron kiss for the first time since So The Drama.
Stop Team Go: Team Go appears for the first time since season 2. Shego shows a good side.
Odds Man In: Hank Perkins makes a reappearence.
Nursery Crimes.
Mathter and Fervent: Hego appears without the rest of Team Go, who are on a cruise.
Cap'n Drakken: First appearence of Barkin's father.
Oh No! Yono!: Ron and Kim learn of Hana's ninja abilites. Monkey Fist meets his end after been turned to stone by Yono.
Graduation 1 & 2: Kim and Ron graduate from high school.

Any errors you see, please point them out. And make sure to post your lists too! :)

I uinderstand why you placed "The Cupid Effect" where you did, because she's still wearing the old mission clothes, but I think we have to consider that an error on the part of the writers and animators. I think it still should go well down the list.
I don't think that you can put "Homecoming Upset" in the spring. They simply wouldn't play football in the spring, after "Cupid Effect". It really has to be in the fall. So unfortunately, it has to come before "Cupid Effect"
"Clean Slate" is problematic all the way around. I consider the start of their BFGF relationship starting with the Junior Prom in StD. That would make their halfaversery in November or December. Unfortunately, there are several errors in this script that conflict with other episodes so this presents several difficulties in trying to put the episodes in order. There is more than one listing possible for sure.
You're saying that Shego learns that Kim and Ron are dating with this episode, yet in "Clothes Minded", which you list before this episode, Shego tells Kim on Ron's cell phone that her "boyfriend doesn't want to talk to her".
Monkey Fist is turned to stone in "Oh no Yono", but did not necessarily meet his end. He could come back theoretically.
That's my call, anyway.;)

I think Shego was poking fun at Kim at the time, then learned the truth in Clean Slate, but finds it hard to believe (hence the poking fun, because she doesn't think Kim and Ron would make a good couple). The only reason I say this is because Kim gets her new mission clothes in Clothes Minded, then is wearing them in Clean Slate. A lot of continuity errors have been caused by those cursed (but oh so stylish) mission clothes.

That would be one way of interpreting that. I'll have to disagree on that one for myself though.

I may be mistaken, but didn't Shego also call Ron Kim's boyfriend in the 3rd season? I for the life of me, can't remember which episode... And I think Kim responded "He's Not my boyfriend!" I know it was before STD...But I may be wrong.

No, she never said that. It was Ron who said he wasn't her boyfriend, that was when Shego asked him something and he mistook it for something else and said he wasn't her boyfriend, to which Shego responded that she wasn't asking about that (or words to that effect), and Ron responds, "Eh.....awkward!......."
I juts can't remember right off hand from where.....:dubiety::confused:

I uinderstand why you placed "The Cupid Effect" where you did, because she's still wearing the old mission clothes, but I think we have to consider that an error on the part of the writers and animators. I think it still should go well down the list.
Or one could argue, like I do, that the holiday themed episodes simply take place outside of regular continuity and are made for a specific time of year. Odds are Disney said "Hey, we're going to start your new season at the beginning of February, any chance for a Valentine's Day episode?"
Happens all the time in comics. Certain one shots and such are considered out of continuity and have no bearing on the over all continuity of the series.
If you assume "The Cupid Effect" does take place out of continuity, then everything else works, chronologically. We have no idea how much time takes place in between each episode. Everything from Ill-Suited to Homecoming Upset could take place over the course of two or three months. We haven't really seen any sort of "winter" based episode this season, so there could be a whole jump over the winter, going directly to the spring following Homecoming Upset. It also gives Hana time to go from infant to toddler.
Just something to think about.

See i'm wondering if it's possible that kim found an old pair of her mission clothes and decided to wear them on that mission? It's really hard to say but the piece with monique in wades visions of her helping kim with the new outfit sitch... is sooo confusing

But the homecoming upset episode is where I think a lot of people are thrown off. I know around here, all the homecoming games and events take place in the fall... And Middleton's was in spring? I did not see one brown leaved tree in that episode. Thats where I run into a problem trying to put the episodes in some sort of time line order.

I was thinking something along the same lines. I mean, Ron still wears the same outfit, in the boy's clothing line!
It can't be that hard find the girl's side somewhere. Worst comes to worst, she could actually have it tailored for her.:errr:
Maybe the fact the Shego razzed her about not keeping up with the fashion trend got to her, and she felt it necessary to come up with a new look, just to keep from getting branded as not staying up to date.:P

Maybe while Ron was working in the stock room at smarty mart and found a box that had been burried in the back and it had the "Kim Style" from way back when her look was popular? Ah we'll never know the truth but we can try to fill in the blanks and gaps.

Well, I've never seen a brown leaved tree in ANY episode. Not even Oct. 31st. It's either spring/summer weather in Middleton or it's winter. Let's not forget the Real World factor here: It's cheaper to reuse backgrounds over and over again rather than putting ones together for each season, especially if the time of year is largely irrelevant to the plotline of the episode.

Which is why I decided for my own sanity to treat it as a holiday special that takes place outside of continuity. It makes everything else fall back into place so nicely.

Ugh... head hurts... too many continuity holes... somebody better get me an aspirin!
Someone mentioned stardates? Don't even go there... do you even realize how inconsistent they were back on the original Star Trek? Ugh, and ugh again...
Yeah, it would really be nice to have a more consistent order of things, though.
