That is unnervingly similar... And very cool.

Far out. I like the headline on the screen, CRIME FIGHTING CHEERLEADER. And she did it in a dress, just like KP would. I wonder if she was wearing red sneakers too.

Talk about life imitating art....
Way to go, Kealy!! You go, girl!!

EDIT: Yesterday afternoon, I saw an episode of History Channel's "Modern Marvels" show that Ron and Rufus would have just loved. Its subject: Cheese.

Chealsea Clinton got married today to her long time boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky, whom she has been seeing for about seven or eight years. It looks like it was a very nice wedding (Despite the fact that her parents want to make me hurl, this is not about them), and the pictures are nice. The bride was really veyr beautiful. What struck me though is that she's Methodist, and her husband is Jewish, so it was a combined ceremony with a methodist pastor and a rabbi. The following picture reminded me a little how Ron and Kim would be dressed when they tied the knot:

Anyway, the full story on the wedding is here: http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/385001...oday_weddings/

A teenage girl uses a hair dryer to save the day in last night's Phineas and Ferb special on Disney XD (which premieres this Friday on Disney Channel). Where have we seen that before?

I was listening to music on my iPod this afternoon, and one of the selections was Debussy's Trois Nocturnes. This reminded me of KP since Bonnie dances to the middle nocturne, "Fêtes," in "Hidden Talent."

Last night, I was watching a Mythbusters segment in which Adam and Jamie tested the old idiom that said you can't polish poop. They eventually got to a point where each guy managed to make a rather highly-polished ball of - well, animal dung. As I was looking at the finished products, all of a sudden the phrase, "Ooh, shiny..." popped into my head.

Three things today:

I wonder if Lord Monty Fiske saw this:
New species of monkey discovered

This afternoon, while at Smarty-Mart making a purchase, I passed a guy stocking one of the store's refrigerators from a cardboard box marked "Granny's Kitchens." It also had a cartoon drawing of their mascot "Granny" on the side of the box. It reminded me of Granny Crockett and her chocolate-chip cookie bakery in "Two to Tutor."

Then, tonight at our Windycon committee meeting, the hotel catered a Mexican buffet for us. For dessert, I ate a churro. (Shades of Ron and Rufus in "Gorilla Fist!")
