Kim
and Quin rushed into the waiting room, still in their mission clothes.
“Did they already take him into surgery?” Kim asked her mom with a glint of hope in her eyes. She and Quin wanted to see him before they began. “Sorry, sweetie, but they couldn’t wait for you any longer. He had to go.”
Kim and Quin were both upset and sat in a couple of chairs. “Why don’t you girls change into some cleaner clothes?” a nurse asked them. Both shook their heads no. “Well, alright.” The nurse responded and left them all alone in the waiting room. Soon, they both fell asleep in the chairs.
A couple hours later, Kim’s mom came in and smiled as she saw the two girls sleeping in the waiting room, just to see Ron once his surgery was over. “Girls,” she said, gently shaking Kim and Quin, “wakeup. Ron’s out of surgery.” Kim looked at her mom groggily before snapping to attention. Quin did the same. “You can go see him. I think he’s just waking up from the anesthetic.” At those word, both of then jumped out of the chairs.
“Which room is he in?” Quin asked anxiously. “Room 203, second floor.” Mrs. Possible answered and smiled again as she watched them both head strait for an elevator. Once on the second floor, they headed strait to Ron’s room. Kim quietly opened the door and peeked inside and then opened it fully. Quietly, both of them entered the room.
Ron was asleep as the girls entered the ghostly white colored room. Just as Kim and Quin sat down, Kim’s Kimmunicator rang. Kim, growling, answered it. “Go, Wade.” She said, a tint of anger in her voice. “Whoa, what’s up with you?” wade asked, a little surprised by her tone.
”Nothing. Just a little tired.” And I just got into Ron’s room to visit… “So, what’s up?”
”I have a lead on Drakken’s latest lair.”
”Where is he now?”
”He’s in China”
“China!”
“SHHH!” Quin hissed to Kim.
”Sorry.” Kim replied. Then she turned her attention back to Wade. “Can you set up a ride for us?”
Wade took another sip before responding. “Yup, It’ll be there in a few”
”Thanks, Wade” Kim said as she turned off the Kimmunicator and pocketed it once more. “Come on, Quin, Wade’s got a lead on Drakken. We’re going to have to visit later…” She quickly left the room, a little upset that her visit was cut short.
Quin sighed and got up then followed Kim out the door, looking back at Ron’s sleeping form one last time before leaving.
China
Quin had her arms crossed, now in a rather foul mood since Wade had called about the latest new on Drakken. Kim was in the same sort of mood. Both sat in silence whilst the helicopter they were sitting in was preparing to land. Once they landed, Kim and Quin snuck into the large, chromium lair and hid behind some hastily tossed aside moving boxes, listening in on what Drakken and Shego were saying…
“Do you SERIOUSLY think that Kim possible won’t find us!” yelled a female voice that Quin and Kim already recognized as Shego. “She always finds us!”
“Relax, Shego,” Came Drakken’s voice. “I made sure that no frequencies were traceable.”
Shego rolled her eyes, scoffing. “Whatever you say, Dr. D…”
Kim made a motion for Quin to follow her as she began to sneak closer to Drakken and Shego to see what exactly they were planning. Both peered carefully at them from behind the large, broken death machine that was one of Drakken’s failed attempts.
Quin noted that Drakken seemed to be peering at a large screen that was blinking off numbers by seconds. She also noticed that it had about 2 hours left. Kim had also noticed this and her eyes widened in horror as then both realized that Drakken’s machine was aimed at the very heart of Middleton. Whatever that machine was going to do, they had to stop it!
Kim quietly snuck behind Drakken’s machine while Quin discreetly managed to sneak close enough to Shego that she was able to usher a surprise attack.
Shego was preoccupied with filing her nails and Drakken was over by the computer, punching in numbers and coordinates for the machine when it’s time, allowing both girls to sneak to the desired destination with ease.
Quin acted first, tackling Shego to the ground in a pounce and soon fists were flying in a furry of black and green.
Kim used this diversion to use her laser lipstick and cut a hole into the machine’s side, allowing her access to the wiring inside. She quickly retrieved the Kimmunicator out of her cargo pocket and pushed a button, making Wade appear on-screen. He whispered instructions to her while Drakken was busy cheering Shego on in the catfight. Kim was almost finished disarming the machine when Quin was launched into her and both girls were knocked unconscious. Shego smirked as she stood, towering over the limp bodies while in the background Drakken’s face broke out in a large Chesere cat grin, signaling triumph…
